During her first few weeks, Brooke's most commented upon feature was her perfect little nose, but after she woke up a bit, it's hard to see anything past those baby blues.

My First Blog Post

After thinking about it for a couple years now, I’m finally starting a blog. I’ve overcome my excuses and fears, and I’m committing… to one post a month. Maybe we’ll get lucky and I’ll do a bit more, but don’t count on it. My goal for the blog is to record some of these sweet, precious experiences as we’ve become a family of three, but also to regain some lost writing skills and find a creative outlet (engineering school was hard on the right side of my brain, I think it felt a bit insulted and went off to sulk, because it has been reluctant to participate in recent years).
